If we're being honest…

Does this sound like you?

You've been in business three years or more. You're good at the work. But the back end — the money, the hiring, the systems — is held together with sticky notes and good intentions.

Your books are everywhere. You glance at the numbers at tax time and hope for the best the other eleven months.
You've made a hiring mistake — or you're terrified of making one — and it cost you more than you'll admit out loud.
You don't know what you don't know. There's no map for getting organized, so you stay stuck in the doing.
You're waiting to "hit a number" before you hire, with no real sense of what your cash flow can actually carry.
Nothing is written down. The processes live in your head, which means the business can't grow past you.
You're overwhelmed and quietly wondering whether building a team is even worth it.
Imagine instead

You hire from a plan — and the plan pays you back.

Let's balance the books

The myths costing you money

Most founders aren't bad with money or people. They're just running on a few expensive assumptions. Here's the ledger we'll set straight in the room.

The myth — what it's costing you
The truth — what we'll set straight
MYTH 01

I only need to know my numbers at tax time.

TRUTH 01 +

Your numbers are a steering wheel, not a rear-view mirror. Read monthly and they tell you what you can afford — including people.

MYTH 02

I need to hit a certain revenue before I can hire.

TRUTH 02 +

Revenue isn't the green light — cash flow is. A profitable-looking business can still be too tight to carry a salary.

MYTH 03

I'll figure out hiring when I'm drowning.

TRUTH 03 +

Workforce planning is forecasting. The founders who project their people needs — like they project finances — hire calmly and on budget.

MYTH 04

If I can afford someone, I should hire fast.

TRUTH 04 +

Hiring too fast is one of the most expensive mistakes there is. Timing — and its hit to cash flow — matters as much as the hire itself.

MYTH 05

Documenting workflows is busywork I'll get to later.

TRUTH 05 +

Undocumented processes cap your growth and your valuation. Written systems are how a business becomes an asset you can scale — and one day sell.

Two hours, zero fluff

What we'll cover

Two experts — one in the money, one in the people — in the same room, connecting the dots most founders are taught to keep separate.

01

Money & people are one decision

The real connection between your finances and your workforce planning — and how every hiring decision is, underneath it, a cash decision.

02

The myths & missteps

The most common finance-and-HR traps founders fall into, why they're so costly, and what to do instead — straight from the ledger above.

03

3 keys to a scalable team

The three moves that let you build a team and a business that grows beyond you — the foundation of lasting, transferable wealth.

1:00 — arrive
Welcome & the big idea. Why "build a team" and "build wealth" are the same sentence.
1:20 — finance
Reading your business like a CFO. Cash flow, forecasting, and what you can actually afford.
2:00 — people
Hiring like an HR strategist. Workforce planning, timing, and documented systems.
2:35 — your turn
3 keys & Q&A. Apply it to your business and leave with your next moves.

FAQ

I'm not hiring right this second. Is this still for me?

Yes — this is exactly the room to be in before you hire. You'll learn how to read your cash flow and plan your team in advance, so your next hire is a calm, costed decision instead of a panic.

I'm not a "numbers person." Will I be lost?

Not at all. Cecilia translates finance into plain language, and Anyelis connects it to the people side. No spreadsheets thrown at you — just clarity you can use Monday morning.

Is it really only 10 seats?

Really. We kept it small on purpose so we can get into your actual business, not just talk in generalities. That's also why early-bird seats tend to go quickly.

Is this in person or on Zoom?

In person, at Narra Collective in Jersey City, NJ. Being in the room together is part of the point.

Is there parking nearby?

Street parking is limited, so give yourself extra time to arrive. There are also paid parking decks nearby if you'd rather not circle the block.

What's the difference between the $45 and $60 price?

$45 is the early-bird rate through June 30. Starting July 1, registration is $60. Same workshop — earlier birds just save.

Will I walk away with anything practical?

Yes. You'll leave with the 3 keys to building a scalable team and a concrete next-step plan for aligning your money and your hiring.
